Clarets keen on loan star
Burnley manager Steve Cotterill is keen to keep on-loan midfielder Eric Djemba-Djemba at Turf Moor.
The Aston Villa and former Manchester United midfielder has been on loan with the Clarets since January and impressed Cotterill during his 14 appearances for the Championship club.
"Djemba-Djemba has been fantastic and if there was any opportunity of keeping him I`d only be too delighted to have him," he told the club`s official website.
"He has come in and definitely added something to us. He passes it as well as anybody has in my time here."
Djemba-Djemba has a long-term contract with Villa but Cotterill is hoping to reprise his loan transfer next season.
