Real Madrid to sell Geremi to Chelsea
Earlier in the week Chelsea had cooled on talks for the midfielder after Real said they wanted £8 million to sell.
Chelsea have now had a £6.5 million offer to Real Madrid accepted for Geremi.
Arsenal were interested in the Cameroon midfielder but Real have an offer from Chelsea now and are considering it as they look to reorganise their midfield after the £48 million spent this week on Zinedine Zidane from Juventus.
Chelsea are in two weeks of a training camp at Umbria this week as they go into pre season work and have contacted Real and Geremi`s agent Lucidio Ribeiro about a move to London.
They have been encouraged again with Real now looking to push through the sale. Real rejected a £5 million offer from Chelsea for the player last month.
