Oliseh eyes Spanish rematch
Skipper Sunday Oliseh is targeting a rematch with Spain in next year`s World Cup finals as The Super Eagles look forward to Saturday`s draw.
Nigeria caused one of the upsets of the 1998 tournament in France, beating the highly-fancied Spaniards 3-2 in a group game at Nantes.
And Oliseh would be happy to be given the chance to repeat the feat next year in Japan or South Korea.
"We would definitely be happy to face Spain again. They have great players but not a good team," said the Borussia Dortmund star.
"Either of the co-hosts will also not be bad but we will definitely be praying against meeting Argentina or France at the moment. They are potential World Cup winners."
Africa`s five representatives at the 2002 World Cup - Nigeria, Senegal, South Africa, Cameroon and Tunisia - have been thrown in Pot D for Saturday`s draw after none of them were good enough under FIFA`s ranking system to be seeded in the top eight countries.
They have been placed alongside CONCACAF`s World Cup also-rans Mexico, Costa Rica and the United States in the final pot and consequently cannot be drawn in the same first-round group.
