Coton`s final joy
Cotonsport are dreaming of lifting the Caf Cup Coton Sport Garoua have qualified for the final of the Caf Cup despite losing 2-1 to Club Africain in Tunis on Sunday.
The Tunisian side began the game needing four goals to qualify after losing the first-leg 3-0, but Coton took them by surprise with an early goal.
Coton thus qualify 4-2 on aggregate, and they will play their first continental Cup final against Raja Casablanca, who beat Rangers International 4-3 on aggregate in the other semi.
Wilfred Ezingha put the Cameroonian side in the lead with only seconds played to compound Club Africain`s woes.
Club Africain could have overturned the large deficit if their strikers had scored most of the chances presented to them in the first-half.
Nabil Missaoui and Al Shraf Jdidia had close range opportunities but blasted over the bar.
But in the space of a minute Club Africain scored twice with Al Shraf tapping home easily and Ramzy Fathali heading the second.
In added time the hosts were reduced to 10 men with the sending off of defender Karim Saidi for an apparent charge.
Coton become the second Cameroonian side in succession to reach the final of the Caf Cup after Tonnerre Yaounde lost to Algeria`s Jeunesse Sportive Kabylie last year`s final.
