Kuffour fined for fighting
Samuel Kuffour, Bayern Munich`s Ghanaian defender, is being fined after a training ground incident.
The German club said Kuffour was involved in a heated exchange with team-mate Jens Jeremies during a practice session on Tuesday.
He must pay 10,000 euros (£6,300) for his part in the affair.
Kuffour becomes the second Bayern player to be sanctioned for fighting in training over the past few weeks.
French defender Bixente Lizarazu was fined for brawling with team-mate Niko Kovac earlier in the month.
It is not the first time Kuffour has been in trouble for fighting with his team-mates.
In March last year he lost his temper when some Black Stars players performed `Juju` before a World Cup qualifier in Sudan.
After the game, which Ghana lost 1-0, he was accused of attacking the referee, though the charges were dropped by Fifa.
Kuffour was also fined by Bayern last year for allegedly having talks with Barcelona about a possible move - an allegation he strongly denied.
