Italy wary of Ghana threat
Italy coach Marcello Lippi believes Ghana could pose a danger to his side at the World Cup finals.
Lippi said facing the Black Stars in their opening Group E match on 12 June would test the ability of his side.
"First of all because we play them first, second because they have great players," Lippi said explaining his cautious view of the west African side.
Lippi travelled to Egypt to watch Ghana`s 2-1 loss to Zimbabwe which eliminated the four-time winners in the first round of the African Cup of Nations in January.
However, Chelsea`s Michael Essien, Udinese`s Sulley Muntari were missing for the Black Stars while Borussia Dortmund striker Matthew Amoah was only half fit.
"That was a Ghana in disguise, because it was missing several players. They`re going to want to surprise us," Lippi said.
"Those three players, I think, will be starters in Hannover," referring to their opening game of the World Cup finals.
