Wome joins Inter Milan
Cameroon defender Pierre Wome has joined Inter Milan on a free transfer from relegated Brescia.
Wome, who has also played in Italy for Bologna and Roma and had a brief spell in England with Fulham, has signed a one-year deal.
The 26-year-old attacking left-back was out of contract and will fill what was a problem position for manager Roberto Mancini last season.
Inter finished third in Serie A last season.
"Wome has been one of our objectives for several months," Inter technical director Marco Branca told the club`s website.
"So we are pleased we have done a deal that is technically useful for the team and economically in line with the club`s project.
"He is still a young player but he has the right Italian and international experience to best settle down into Roberto Mancini`s squad," he said.
Meanwhile, Nigerian striker Peter Ijeh has joined Danish side FC Copenhagen from Sweden`s IFK Gothenburg.
The transfer fee for the 28-year-old was not disclosed but it is said to be US$906,200.
