Italian giants Juventus are believed to be
interested in bringing Mallorca striker Samuel Eto`o to Turin, according to reports in Spain. Juve are keen to upgrade their attack following the recent injury to Chilean
hitman Marcelo Salas and coach Marcelo Lippi has three players in mind for the job, Eto`o, Mauricio Ganz and Hakan Sukur.
Both Ganz and Sukur could already be on their way to Turin but convincing Mallorca to part with Eto`o could prove more difficult and even then, the Cameroon ace would only be allowed to leave Son Moix in January after the winter transfer markets have got underway.
Mallorca coach Sergio Kresic would be loathe to part with Eto`o, who is a key player for the islanders but their minds may be changed if Juve propose a succulent offer that they simply couldn`t refuse.
Eto`o, who was technically a Real Madrid player up until last summer is valued at around £4.5million.
