Argentina wary of Cameroon
Argentina are well aware of what happened the last time they met the African Champions.
In Italia `90 the two sides played the tournament`s opening game in Milan.
It was a massive upset for the Argentines, who lost 1-0.
Argentina`s Claudio Caniggia was on the bench that day, but is likely to be in the starting line-up on Wednesday for the game at Servette FC.
He is having a new lease of life at the age of 35, and could be one of the players Nigeria have to deal with when the two sides meet in their opening World Cup game on 2 June.
Back in 1990 his searing runs against Cameroon brought two defenders red cards for late tackles.
Physical
Argentina`s coach Marcelo Bielsa told a news conference at Argentina`s hotel on Lake Geneva that he was getting closer to picking his final 23 for Korea and Japan.
Bielsa also paid respect to the Cameroon team, and said he was looking forward to playing them as prepares his side to take on Nigeria.
He said Cameroon and Nigeria had interesting points in common as well as some differences.
"They share a physical exuberance and individual technical riches. They are different in that Nigeria play more freely, whereas Cameroon have a more structured game," he said.
Argentina probable team:
German Burgos, Mauricio Pochettino, Walter Samuel, Diego Placente, Javier Zanetti, Matias Almeyda, Juan Sebastian Veron, Juan Pablo Sorin, Claudio Caniggia, Javier Saviola, Claudio Lopez.
