Song set for Upton Park exit - Agent
West Ham defender Rigobert Song is on the verge of quitting Upton Park after his agent revealed The Hammers no longer want the Cameroon star.
Song is currently on loan at Cologne, however the Bundesliga`s bottom club appear unlikely to be able to take advantage of an option to sign the 25-year-old should they remain in Germany`s top division.
European giants Bayern Munich are reported to be heading the queue of clubs interested in the former Liverpool man but his agent Pape Diouf insists nothing will be decided until the summer.
He told TEAMtalk: "It is no longer possible for Rigobert to return to West Ham. When I spoke to Paul Aldridge (managing director) and Glenn Roeder (manager), they made that very clear.
"Moving to Germany has given him a new chance to play, and maybe there are some clubs interested in Rigobert, but I have not received any official contacts.
"I have told him to continue playing as well as he can, and we will see what happens at the end of the season.
"If Cologne stay in the Bundesliga they have the option to keep him, but I think it will be very difficult for them.
"At the end of the season I will think about what is best for Rigobert next season.
"Maybe Bayern and other clubs are interested but, at the moment, I am waiting to hear from them."
