Egypt face Libya in opener
Hosts Egypt will face Libya in the opening game of next year`s African Cup of Nations finals.
The Egyptians will be seeking their fifth continental title after winning in 1957, 1959, 1986 and 1998.
Libya, who hosted the tournament in 1982, have not played at the African Cup of Nations in 23 years.
Cameroon, also four-time winners of Africa`s top title, will face Angola - who make their debut at next year`s World Cup - in the opening game of group B.
Cup of Nations draw
Defending champions Tunisia, also at next year`s World Cup finals, will face Zambia in the opening game of group C.
Group D, which could be termed the `group of death` will begin with a clash between arch-rivals Nigeria and Ghana.
Two games in the final round of group matches are likely to attract a lot of interest.
Egypt will face Ivory Coast, whom they met in the group stages of the 2006 World Cup qualifiers, in their final Group A match.
They will be hoping to avenge the 2-1 defeat they suffered to the Ivorians, who will be at the World Cup.
Angola and Togo - the two World Cup debutants - will meet each other in the final game of Group B.
