Spanish first division reports
MADRID,
Reports of matches played in the Spanish first division on Saturday
CELTA VIGO 2 RAYO VALLECANO 2
Celta recovered from Jon Perez Bolo`s first-half opener to take the lead with a Catanha header and a long-range strike from Edu.
The Spanish league`s basement side came back impressively, though, earning a deserved point as Bosnian international Elvir Bolic found space in the area to nod in a cross from the right with seconds remaining.

LAS PALMAS 0 REAL SOCIEDAD 0
Real Sociedad could find none of the free-flowing football that earned them a 6-0 win over Valladolid in their last outing. Las Palmas were their usual solid selves at home and the game petered out into a draw.

REAL MADRID 3 DEPORTIVO CORUNA 1
Real claimed top spot at the halfway point in the season thanks to two virtuoso goals from Zinedine Zidane and Raul.
In a furious opening spell that brought three goals in four minutes, Fernando Morientes put Real ahead with a neat finish, Roy Makaay levelled from the spot and Zidane jinked in and cracked home a shot from the edge of the box to make it 2-1.
Raul made the game safe for Real on 63 minutes, receiving the ball with his back to goal, turning past two defenders and beating the Depor keeper with a fierce drive.

VILLARREAL 0 SEVILLA 2
Sevilla took the lead via Francisco Casquero on 24 minutes and the sending-off of Guillermo Amor 14 minutes later left the home side in real trouble.
Sevilla controlled the rest of the game, with Moises doubling their lead two minutes from time. The former Villarreal striker`s retrurn to his former club came to an unhappy end, however, as he received his second yellow card in injury time.
