Mettomo joins PSG in Anelka switch
Cameroon defender Lucien Mettomo will be joining Paris Saint Germain as part of the £13m deal that has taken France striker Nicolas Anelka to Manchester City.
Mettomo is rated at £3m and was offered on top of £10m cash for Anelka, who had been on loan at Liverpool for much of the season.
It is a return to French football for Mettomo, who was previously with St Etienne.
At PSG, he will join up with fellow Africans Jay-Jay Okocha and Bartholomew Ogbeche, who are both from Nigeria.
Despite missing most of January and February on African Nations Cup duty with Cameroon, he played 24 times for Manchester City this season and helped them secure promotion to the Premiership.
He has 22 caps for his country, and was a part of the back-line that kept six consecutive clean sheets on the way to the title in the Nations Cup in Mali.
