Dindane returns to Egypt
Ivory Coast striker Aruna Dindane has returned to the Elephants` camp at the African Cup of Nations in Egypt, having missed his side`s three group games.
The Lens striker`s returned to France after the death of his young daughter just before the start of the competition.
"I don`t want to go back over what has happened the last few days," Dindane said.
"I went back due to personal problems, and I think everyone know what those were.
"I am very happy to be back with the group, that`s all."
Dindane is also recovering from a calf injury, and that coupled with his painful break from football means he is by no means certain to play in Ivory Coast`s quarter-final against Cameroon on Saturday.
Dindane himself refused to comment on his fitness levels, saying the Elephants` physical coaches would determine that.
The Ivory Coast coach Henri Michel said it was unlikely he would risk Dindane against the Indomitable Lions.
"I haven`t heard what the team doctor has to say yet, but I would be astonished if he could play.
"He has only arrived on Thursday, and the game is on Saturday, so it would be difficult.
"He came here a couple of weeks late, so obviously that means there is a problem.
"We could play him, but I don`t want him to get injured - his health is the most important thing."
Dindane`s national team colleagues are delighted to have him back.
"He is a really important player for us," Kolo Toure told the BBC.
"He played for us in all our World Cup games, and did really well."
Dindane scored seven goals in qualifying, as part of a deadly striking duo with Didier Drogba.
