Song ready for Germany
The 25-year-old FC Cologne defender hurt the ligaments in his right ankle during Cameroon`s 1-0 victory over Saudi Arabia on Thursday.
"Song`s injured, but it`s nothing major," said coach Winfried Schaefer.
"There`s no danger he wouldn`t be able to start against the Germans,"
Meanwhile, Cameroon wing-back Geremi said he is confident his team will beat Germany.
Both Cameroon and Germany go into the match with four points, after both teams beat Saudi Arabia and drew with the Republic of Ireland.
But Germany have a vastly superior goal difference after beating Saudi 8-0 in their opening game of the tournament, compared to Cameroon`s narrow 1-0 victory.
And if Ireland beat Saudi by two clear goals then Cameroon must beat Germany to progress in the competition.
"Against Germany we will see what Cameroon is capable of," said Geremi on his official website.
"I`m very confident for this decisive encounter. We will be ready and we will win.
"Of course we can`t guarantee anything, but we will give everything.
"There`s not much choice - three points and we are through to the last 16."
But Geremi was pleased with his contribution to the win over Saudi.
"Personally, I`ve taken a lot of pleasure from the success of my decisive pass for Samuel Eto`o`s goal.
"That gave me lots of confidence and motivation to go on.
"We cannot wait for the game against the Germans."
