Cameroon keeper not for Keegan
Manchester City manager Kevin Keegan will not be signing Cameroon trialist Alioum Boukar to solve his goalkeeping problem.
The 32-year-old left Manchester a disappointed man, having failed to impress Keegan during a week-long trial.
The keeper put up an impressive performance for Cameroon`s Indomitable Lions at the African Cup of Nations in Mali.
He is available for a nominal fee from Turkish First Division side Samsunspor, where he has played since he left Cameroon in 1995.
"The Cameroon goalkeeper went home, so that one won`t be happening," said Keegan, who is keen to sign a keeper before the transfer deadline on 28 March.
City`s own keeper, Nicky Weaver, is out for the rest of the season with a cartilage injury.
