Olembe misses German camp (04.09.2003)
Cameroon has named a 22-man squad for a week-long camping session in Germany.
The African champions will be in the country between 4 and 11 September, as part of their preparation to defend their Nations Cup title in Tunisia.
Midfielder Salomon Olembe, who moved to English Premiership club Leeds United on a one-year loan deal, is the major absentee from the list.
But Winfried Schafer, Cameroon´s German coach, has included three new names in the side - Lille striker Jean II Makoun, goalkeeper Mathurin Kameni of Coton Sport Garoua and Patrick Tygnyemb of Tonnerre Yaounde.
They will play Eintracht Frankfurt on 7 September and an unnamed amateur side on the 9th.
