Lions Indomptables: Un "banni" dans la tannière .

Idriss Carlos Kameni, le gardien de buts de l’Espanyol de Barcelone a effectué le déplacement de Lisbonne. Le joueur a ainsi saisi la main tendue par l’encadrement technique de la sélection nationale fanion. Depuis l’exécrable coupe du monde des Lions indomptables en Afrique du Sud, le joueur avait brillé par son absence dans la tanière.
Si, lors des deux premières journées des éliminatoires de la Coupe d’Afrique des Nations (Can) 2012, Gabon-Guinée Equatoriale, il n’avait pas été convoqué par le staff technique. Ce n’était pas le cas en janvier dernier, quand il avait été retenu pour le match amical du 9 février entre la Macédoine et le Cameroun. Mais, de manière subtile, à travers un certificat médical, il n’avait pas daigné effectuer le déplacement de Skopje.
A l’hôtel Solplay de Lisbonne, depuis hier, on retrouve également Jean Patrick Abouna Ndzana, Joseph Julien Momasso, Matthew Mbuta Andongcho, Charles Itandje, Nicolas Nkoulou Ndoubena, Benjamin Moukandjo, Eyong Enoh Tarkang, Sébastien Bassong, Henri Bedimo Nsamé, Landry Nguemo, Vincent Aboubakar, Georges Constant Mandjeck, Aurélien Cheudjou, Achille Webo, Eric Maxime Choupo Moting et Somen à Tchoyi.
Au moment où nous mettions sous presse, le Team Press Officer des Lions indomptables, Linus Pascal Fouda, indiquait les arrivées en fin de journée du capitaine Samuel Eto’o Fils, Stéphane Mbia et Georges Elokobi.
Dans l’après-midi d’hier, il n’y a pas eu de séance d’entraînement. On a plutôt assisté, selon Linus Pascal Fouda, à un travail en salle de musculation. C’est donc ce matin, à 10h à Lisbonne que la première séance d’entraînement aura lieu au stade National. L’infrastructure sportive qui sert de tanière de la sélection nationale de football dans la capitale portugaise est située à cinq minutes de l’hôtel Solplay. «D’après le coach, l’état physique des joueurs déterminera s’il faut ou non organiser une seconde séance dans la journée», confie le Team Press Officer.
Par ailleurs, c’est ce jour que l’effectif devrait être au complet du côté de Lisbonne. Guy Roland Ndy Assembe, Benoît Angbwa retenus en club hier soir, arriveront dans l’après-midi. Idem pour André Ndame Ndame de Coton Sport. Le joueur arrivera de Kinshasa, où il a disputé un match victorieux des 16èmes de finale de la ligue des Champions face à l’As Vita Club (1-0). Benoît Assou Ekotto est également attendu dans la journée. Tandis que Joël Matip a confié attendre la permission de son nouveau coach avant de se déplacer, sa convocation ayant été tardive. Encore qu’Assou Ekotto pourrait être confronté à la même situation…
Dans la journée d’hier, il faisait 23°c à Dakar et 22°c à Lisbonne. Pour le reste du programme, deux séances d’entraînement auront lieu demain mercredi 24 mars 2011. A ce moment là, l’effectif devrait être au complet. Une seule séance est prévue dans la matinée de jeudi. Puis, dans l’après-midi, les Lions indomptables se rendront à Dakar, la capitale sénégalaise.
La journée de vendredi aura deux articulations : la conférence de presse d’avant match et la reconnaissance de l’aire de jeu. Après le match, de samedi en fin de journée, le groupe se rendra à Paris dans la nuit. Le stage se poursuivra dimanche et lundi. Et le lendemain, mardi 29 mars, les Lions indomptables seront face aux Panthères du Gabon dans le cadre d’un match amical, à Courneuve, dans la banlieue camerounaise.
