Suffo eyes English comeback
Cameroon international striker Patrick Suffo says he wants to return to England to play.
He was put on the transfer list by Sheffield United last season after the infamous `Battle of Bramall Lane`, where he was sent off for fighting.
The match against West Bromwich Albion had to be abandonned after United were left with too few players to continue.
Suffo has just returned to his club FC Numancia in Spain after a loan spell with Saudi Arabian side Al Ahli, which had been billed as a permanent move.
But he told BBC Sport Online that he really wanted to go back to England.
"England is my second home and I loved playing there - especially at Sheffield," he said.
Holding talks
The striker, who was part of Cameroon`s World Cup squad, said he regretted getting involved in the fracas that forced him to pack his bags at United.
"I am a changed player now because I know that incident turnished my image," he added.
Suffo would like to return to Sheffield, and expressed hope that a deal could be done when the transfer window opens in January.
But he said he would not go begging the club for a comeback.
"I am playing well and everybody knows this", he said.
"I am talking to several English Clubs", he added, but declined to mention any names.
