     Okocha v Job

There will be significant African interest in England`s League Cup final this Sunday.

Bolton have never won the League Cup but if they do they will surely have Jay Jay Okocha to thank.

The Nigeria captain is also the northern English club`s best player.

In fact, Bolton manager Sam Allardyce recently claimed Okocha is the best player in the club`s history!

That came after Okocha inspired Bolton into Sunday`s final, scoring two goals in the semi-final against Aston Vila.

Both those goals came from free kicks, the second of which, hit from wide out and with the outside of the foot, is a serious contender for goal of the season.

Okocha`s dribbling skills and passing ability will also be central to Bolton`s play.

Middlesbrough are another team who have yet to win England`s second Cup competition.

Joseph-Desire Job has been a peripheral figure at times for Middlesbrough, but he should figure in the final.

The Cameroon international is in his best spell of form in the three and a half years he has been at the club.

Despite spending a couple of months out with injury, Job has five goals this season.

Several of those strikes have been crucial, none more so than the winner when Middlesbrough beat Manchester United 3-2 at Old Trafford.

Job`s skill on the ball and willingness to work will be key elements for Middlesbrough.

One thing is sure: whoever triumphs, an African star will pick up a winner`s medal.
