victoire à l`énergie de Bordeaux face à Sedan
BORDEAUX Les Girondins de Bordeaux ont préservé leur invincibilité à domicile face à Sedan, mais ne se sont imposés que dans la douleur face à une équipe mal classée qui les a fait souffrir jusqu`au bout.
"On savait que ce serait très difficile, d`abord de gagner deux fois consécutivement à domicile, et face à une équipe un cran au-dessus de Metz et qui ne mérite pas sa place actuelle", a déclaré le défenseur central Alain Roche.
Sedan a mené rapidement 1 à 0 sur les terres de la meilleure défense du championnat, et a maîtrisé la rencontre.
"Depuis trois matches, on voit de belles choses, de grosses promesses qui ne sont malheuresement pas tenues", a regretté l`entraîneur des Ardennais, Henri Stambouli.
"On peut se reprocher une chose, celle de ne pas avoir tué le match, car quand on mène 1-0 on sait que si on ne marque pas un deuxième tout est encore possible."
Le malheur de Sedan est venu de Christian, auteur du premier but bordelais avant que Pauletta ne marque le coup franc décisif.
"Je suis content car le travail commence à payer. Je commence à me sentir plus confiant, mieux physiquement et techniquement, mais ce qui est le plus important c`est d`avoir pris les trois points", a déclaré l`ancien parisien.
"On s`est tous beaucoup battus, on a fait beaucoup d`efforts. On a gagné avec les tripes et c`est beaucoup de satisfaction de s`imposer dans ces conditions-là", a jugé le capitaine Christophe Dugarry.
Les Bordelais ont maintenant devant eux deux rencontres importantes: le match retour du deuxième tour de Coupe de l`Uefa, jeudi à Liège, puis un déplacement dimanche chez le leader du championnat, Lens.
