Song assures fans of Lions’ strength

Indomitable Lions skipper, Rigobert Song has told fans they are well prepared to perform well in the Confederations Cup.
Song reassured the fans in Yaounde on Sunday before the team did a fare well game to communion with the fans and ask for their blessing.
« We are in good state of mind and ready to demonstrate that you can always count on us » , Song said.
« It’s an important competition for us and all has been done in time for us to properly defend the image of Cameroon »
Before the game, FECAFOOT president Iya Mohamed disclosed that the team had received excellent preparations which they will complete in the days ahead before the event starts.
« There are no problems and there is no reason to think that we can’t reach the final of the Confederations Cup », Iya said
He proceeded to hand national team jerseys to the three main sponsors of the team. The general managers or the representatives of PMUC, Orange and Brasseries du Cameroun received the gifts as a symbol for FECAFOOT thanking them for their support of the Indomitable Lions.
Over 50.000 fans crowded the Ahmadou Ahidjo stadium to watch the game. And were impress with the performances of new comer Parfait Ngon A Ndjam and old names like Pius Ndiefi, Idrissou Mohamed, Eric Djemba and Kameni idriss. The side led by Song lost 2-0. Djemba and Ndiefi took the goals.
