Songo`o keeping on
Cameroon`s veteran goalkeeper Jacques Songo`o says he will be at his best for the World Cup finals, despite seemingly having lost his place in the side to Alioum Boukar.
Songo`o, who has been involved in the side since 1983, says his vast experience - he has 110 caps - will be invaluable for the Indomitable Lions.
"I have a huge international experience which I don`t hesitate to share with my younger brothers," he said.
Songo`o was key figure in the last three World Cups for Cameroon, but since 1999 has only played three times for them, missing out on both major tournaments since then - the African Cup of Nations in 2000 and 2002.
However, he did start Cameroon`s most recent game, a friendly against Austria, and kept a clean sheet before being substituted at half time.
And despite having not seen much international action recently, Songo`o is still a regular with his club team, French side Metz.
