Bordeaux striker Pedro Pauleta scored his 21st league goal of the season in the 60th minute with a penalty awarded for a handball by Lens defender Valerien Ismael.
Substitute Paulo Miranda put Bordeaux further ahead four minutes from time, turning in Pauleta`s low cross from the left from close range. A minute later, midfielder Stephane Pedron volleyed home a consolation for Lens.

Defender Dominique Arribage put Rennes ahead on the hour when he headed home a corner from the right taken by Laurent Battles. Striker Frederic Piquionne increased their lead 13 minutes later when he volleyed home a cross from the right by defender Anthony Reveillere.
Substitute Ibrahima Bakayoko pulled one back for Marseille seven minutes from time when he headed in a free kick from the right by Brazilian midfielder Andre Luiz. - - - -
PARIS ST GERMAIN 3 TROYES 1
Swedish international Michael Svensson shocked PSG by opening the score in the 15th minute, heading home a free kick from the left by midfielder Fabio Celestini for his first goal of the season.
In the second half, substitute Aloisio equalised with a bullet header just under the bar from a corner from the right taken by fellow Brazilian Ronaldinho.
Ronaldinho then scored his first double for PSG in the space of 10 minutes, two similar solo goals as he ran at the defence and sidestepped goalkeeper Stephane Cassard to steer the ball into the net.

LILLE 2 OLYMPIQUE LYON 0
Striker Bruno Cheyrou gave Lille the lead almost from kickoff, dribbling past three defenders to scored with little more than a minute on the clock.
Philippe Brunel made the points secure for the home side 15 minutes from the end, when goalkeeper Gregory Wilbee`s long kick bounceed over the defence and the striker nipped through to steer the ball past Lyon keeper Gregory Coupet.

Two Pierre-Emmanuel Bourdeau blunders allowed Sochaux to go ahead just before the half hour. The defender sliced a clearance of a cross from the right. The ball fell to Sochaux forward Stephane Crucet on the left. His shot was then deflected past goalkeeper Gerrard Gnanhouan and into the net by the unfortunate Bourdeau.

Sedan captain Luis Satorra was sent off after only eight minutes of his return match from injury for holding back Fode Mansare when the Montpellier player had a clear run at goal.

Young newcomer Sebastien Carole blasted Monaco in front with a fine left-footed drive from the edge of the box through a sea of defenders and past unsighted goalkeeper Mickael Landreau.
Striker Pierre-Yves Andre equalised when he lunged to turn home Olivier Quint`s low cross from the left.
Three minutes after the interval, Mathieu Berson hit a superb winner, a volley from the left into the far top corner after a one-two with Andre.
Nantes defender Sylvain Armand was sent off when he was shown the red card in the 89th minute for a second yellow card offence.

Bastia`s Morlaye Soumah was shown the red card in the final minute after a late tackle earned him a second booking.

Bottom club Metz went ahead on the half hour with a penalty taken by playmaker Frederic Meyrieu and took a two-goal lead with Joseph-Desire`s headed lob over goalkeeper Fabien Cool just after the hour.
But Auxerre hit right back, Jean-Alain Boumsong heading home from a corner in the 62nd. Philippe Mexes volleyed the equaliser from close range in the 77the and Khalilou Fadiga struck the winner from the penalty spot seven minutes from time.
Metz had defender Gregory Proment sent off in the 84th minute for a second booking.
