Bassa chiefs want Bell to apologies for Blatter support or be cursed/ Now that the Lions have lost, who pays the price?

Mbo-Mbog Mbouck Guillaume, leader of the union of Bassa-Mpoo-Bati chiefs, told The Herald that they were bent on saving their face from the abomination and betrayal of Bell. “When we met at our sacred shirne at Ngog-Lituba in Bati, we judged Bell’s pronouncements as betrayal of the Bassa cause of being the first convinced nationalists." " ” Bell, he said, had committed an abomination for which he had to appease his Bassa ancestors before undergoing purification rites"
Bell Joseph Antoine who supported the candidature of Joseph Sepp Blatter to victory in the FIFA presidential elections against the official position of Cameroonians has been told to apologise for his action or be cursed by his ancestors.
Claiming that Bell’s campaign for Blatter influenced the latter’s crushing victory over Cameroon’s Issa Hayatou on 29 May, Bassa traditional rulers resolved to force their kinsman retract his support for Blatter which announced to betrayal of his fatherland. Bell had in Jeune Afrique l’intelligent declared that Hayatou was incompetent to administer FIFA and personally campaigned for Blatter.

” Bell, he said, had committed an abomination for which he had to appease his Bassa ancestors before undergoing purification rites. Mbo-Mbog Mbouck urged Bell to start with an open apology. Asked what would happen if Bell refused to apologise, the Bassa chief disclosed that the skipper would be cursed, a curse he could not however describe.
He further said Bell had already been disowned by the chiefs regrouped under Ba Mbo-Mbog Mbog Liaa. He brandished an earlier release sent to the minister of youth and sports in which they decided to “condemn the declarations made by Joseph Antoine Bell in Jeune Afrique l’lintelligent and to dissociate themselves from him wishing that he falls back on the line behind the position of the Ba-Mbo-Mbog.
