Schaefer sticks with familiar faces
Cameroon coach Winfried Schaefer has sprung no surprises with his World Cup squad with it being the same squad that won the African Nations Cup.
Schaefer has stuck with the squad that beat Senegal in the final of the African Nations Cup in February despite seeing his side suffer a morale-sapping defeat at the hands of Denmark on Friday.
Cameroon saw their 10-month unbeaten run ended in Copenhagen as a Lucien Mettomo own goal condemned the reigning African champions to their first defeat under their German coach.
Now Schaefer will be looking to bring his squad of all-foreign-based players back to the boil before they conclude their World Cup warm-up with a friendly game against England in Japan next week.
The Africans start their World Cup campaign against Republic of Ireland in Niigata on Saturday June 1.
