Nigeria announce squad
There are few surprises as Nigeria coach Adegboye Onigbinde announces his 23-man World Cup squad.
Former captain Sunday Oliseh, Finidi George, Victor Agali and Wilson Oruma are among the major casualties.
However, Onigbinde made the surprise inclusion of striker John Utaka and Salamanca midfielder Mutiu Adepoju.
Last year Under-17 World Cup international, Femi Opabunmi is included after making his Super Eagles debut only two weeks ago.
Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Austin Okocha, Arsenal`s Nwankwu Kanu and Taribo West are among the experienced names in the side.
Julius Aghahowa will also be going to the World Cup.
Onigbinde also added Holland-based Garba Lawal and Chelsea defender Celestine Babayaro.
