Mezague stays in hospital
Injured Cameroon international Valery Mezague is being kept in hospital for an extra week, as he recovers from injuries sustained in a recent car accident.
The 19-year-old midfielder, who plays for French club Montpellier, underwent surgery on a fractured skull but has left the intensive care unit.
"His condition is good, he´s slowly recovering and will stay in hospital for about a week, after which he will be transferred to a specialised centre for the recovery of athletes," said a hospital spokesman.
Mezague, Montpellier´s top scorer with six goals last season, played in the final of the Confederations Cup against France.
