Cameroon 2-2 Tunisia: Reactions from Coaches and players
Paul Le Guen ( Cameroun Coach ) This group was a difficult one. We should not take anything away from the teams that played here. That we qualified is worth celebrating. The boys held their own. It is not easy to come back twice against a young and fast team like Tunisia, so the boys should be commended for doing what was necessary to qualify.
Etoo Fils ( Cameroun Captain ) i want to dedicate this qualification to the boys. Take the case of Mandjeck Constant, this was his first cap and he played so well that older players feel threatened. I do not think that the coach underated Tunisia by giving chances to other players. We are twenty two here and every one deserves a chance. Do not forget that we also have one eye on the World Cup.
Raguel Hocine ( Tunisian midfielder ) We came here with a lot of dreams, but could not realise them. We battled to the end, we played our best, but our best was not good enough. We will go back with our heads held high, we will go back and reinforce, knowing that there is always a tomorrow.
