Bayern Munich Compete With English Trio For Espanyol’s Carlos Kameni
Carlos Kameni looks set to leave Espanyol in the summer with several Premier League clubs vying for his services along with Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich, according to a report.The Cameroonian goalkeeper has been linked with a departure from the Blanc i Blau for the past three seasons, however, every summer he has opted to stay or a deal has fallen through.This time though, things appear to be more certain as his contract is due to expire and negotiations already said to have begun, albeit tentatively, with a number of clubs, The People state.Tottenham Hotspur have a long-standing interest in the 25-year-old and have been linked with a move but, with three keepers already at the club, he may not feel he will be given regular football.Newcastle United’s interest could be attractive after they sold Shay Given to Manchester City recently and are looking for a long-term No. 1 to join them.The third Premier League outfit is Fulham.
