Douala could start for Pilgrims (03.05.2009)
Plymouth boss Paul Sturrock is set to name a largely unchanged side for the final game of the season at home to relegation-threatened Barnsley. Argyle secured their safety without playing on Monday night after Norwich’s 2-0 defeat to Reading, but their opponents could still be relegated if they lose and the Canaries win at Charlton. Sturrock will again be without on-loan Manchester United defender Craig Cathcart
because of his knee injury, so full-back Chris Barker will again deputise at the heart of defence. But the Argyle boss - who has dismissed reports that he will step down - has hinted at one change, and that could well come in attack, where he may look to give Cameroon international striker Rudi Douala a run-out. Douala, 30, has yet to make a start for the first team but has scored three goals in four reserve games.
