VALENCIA, (FIBA EuroLeague Women) - Cameroon centre Agathe Rachel Nnjindem has left Arranz Ancinas de Burgos and signed for Liga Femenina title contenders Ros Casares.
The 24-year-old Nnjindem, who was averaging 12.3 points and 8.3 rebounds for Ancinas, is considered to be one of the most promising players in the Liga.
Ros Casares sporting director Ramon Marquez said: "This was an opportunity that we could not miss, that`s why we signed
her."
>The 1.92m Nnjindem possesses a French passport and will not take up one of the foreigner spots.
Ros Casares were on hard times early in the season but the signing of USA international Chamique Holdsclaw has led to a change in their fortunes.
In the FIBA Europe League, Israel Sanchis` team are 4-3 and in fourth place in Group B.
In their Liga Femenina they are in third place, three games behind leaders Perfumerias Avenida.
