Lions miss Djemba-Djemba (17.06.2004)
Injury to midfielder Eric Djemba-Djemba has kept him out of Cameroon`s World Cup qualifier away to Libya on Friday.
Officials of Cameroon`s Football Federation, Fecafoot, told reporters that a knee problem made him unfit for the match in Misrata.
Striker Marcus Mokake, with French side Sedan, was also overlooked for the encounter but no reason was given for his exclusion.
The game also marks the return of forwards Achille Emana and Pius Ndiefi to the squad.
Schafer said he will adopt a cautious approach to the game.
"Against Libya I will play a defensive system, using rapid counter-attacks with the pairing of Eto`o and Emana or Eto`o and Pius Ndiefi," said the German coach.
Cameroon beat Benin 2-1 in their opening World Cup group match, while Libya seek to
